Pants!
Here're the matching pants. I started with McCalls 9407, and then
added ribbing at the cuffs (and didn't follow the directions).

Little ears/horns for the Bean
According to my 3 yo, my baby needs a green monster costume for
Halloween. So I'm testing my pattern by making a little sweat suit
from stash fabric. I'm lining the hood with grey Minkee, and I added
little ears like babystyle/babygap.

More booties!
I made another pair last night, with faux suede soles. I freemotion
stitched an R and an L on the soles to make my life easier. They
stayed on all day at two museums and on the lawn, and at the rose
garden.
I'm testing my pattern by making a pair for my 3yo, and then I'll post
a tutorial if anyone is interested...

Multiple pictures
I love the color combinations and gradations on these roses. Yellow
pink, orange red. If I didn't have two babies, I'd spend all day
sniffing and photographing all the different types of roses here.

2 bean stamps
I want to decorate with Jelly beans for the Bean's first birthday next
month, but couldn't find ANY bean stamps of any kind. Ergo: (I carved
them seperately, so I can use them all over and not look super
repetitive)

My booties win!
She can't get them off!!!
Her toesies MUST be warm now!
She thinks this whole take-off-her-shoes game is hilarious, hence the
sly grin and big innocent eyes.

Homemade robeez BOOTS!
The brown is a too small Robeez boot, and the blue ones are the pair I
just made! I have some suede to use on the next pair, this one was
just to test my pattern. This pair fits the bean perfectly, was made
of stash scraps, (therefore was free), and I made the whole thing in
less time than it would have taken to drive to the nearest Robeez
retailer (manhattan beach).
Now I'm gonna get to work on the suede pair, so she has traction as
she learns to walk.
